Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)
Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) is a weekly payment, to eligible students, to help support you with the costs of learning. For more information on the various aspects of EMA please select one of the following categories.
If you need any further help or advice with transport please come and see us in Student Services.
Note: Many students are eligible for Arriva or First passes. These passes are personal to the student named on the pass and must be kept carefully. Student Services and the issuing company must be notified of any loss without delay. Using another student’s pass is fraud. To copy a pass and from the copy forge a pass in another person’s name, is also fraud. The College will support bus companies in their attempts to minimise the abuse of passes and always recommends the involvement of police.
